STAFF : Kirsten Romer
Kirsten Romer is the Director of Marketing and
Member Relations for the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). Kirsten
is responsible for membership recruitment and for expanding services to
existing members. She oversees revenue-generating activities including the
Annual Forecast & Award Dinner and the SIA Industry Leadership Luncheon.
Kirsten is also responsible for producing SIA marketing materials such as
including the SIA Quarterly and Annual Reports.
Prior to joining the SIA, Kirsten was the Director of International Marketing
for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC). During her three years
at GPEC, Kirsten served on the World Trade Center Arizona Board of Directors,
ASU College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Marketing Committee, UK/AZ Festival
Executive Committee and the Super Bowl XXX Host Committee.
From 1991-1994, Kirsten worked as an analyst in the U.S. Corporate Finance
division of the Industrial Bank of Japan in Los Angeles. From 1987-90, Kirsten
was in Japan, where she participated in an intensive language program and
then worked as an aide to a prominent member of the Japanese Diet.
Kirsten has a B.A. in East Asian Languages from Arizona State University
and a Master of Liberal Arts
from Stanford University .
