  • Robert Noyce, Intel Corporation
  • Jerry Sanders, Advanced Micro Devices, Incorporated
  • Charles Sporck, National Semiconductor Corporation
  • John Welty, Motorola, Inc.

Currently, the SIA has 14 board member companies. They are Advanced Micro Devices, Altera, Analog Devices, Freescale Semiconductor, IBM, Intel, Intersil, LSI, Micron Technology, National Semiconductor, NVIDIA, QUALCOMM, Texas Instruments and Xilinx.

There are over 70 SIA member companies that range from fully integrated manufacturing companies, to fabless, to foreign based with fabs in the U.S., to foundries, to companies that support our industry (i.e. law firms, investment banks, etc.).
